Cute Matelassé is a mini-quilted fabric, composed of 80% Nylon and 20% Cellulose. It has a ‘washed look’ which accentuates the three-dimensionality of its surface.

The material is coloured after fabrication, which gives it a distinctive ‘washed look’. First, the quilt sandwich is prepared, with the top coat fused to the wadding, before being sewn together in a 5 mm square grid form using straight line quilting, to give it a mini-quilted uniform relief. Once the construction is finished, the colour is projected onto the surface, adhering more to the flat relief of the squares than the recessed sewn areas, to create the ‘washed’ look.

Cute Matelassé is available in 13 colours, in roll format, with a width of 130 cm and a weight of 235 gr/m2. The sample colour here is the same that you will receive: purple.
