Our in-house creative team chooses a featured Mate Our in-house creative team chooses a featured Material Of The Month each month. For August's MOTM we focused on Rita-Luminium - the latest member of our growing Luminium family - a composite composed of our woven Rita textile adhered onto lightweight malleable aluminium. Rita is an iridescent metallic chameleon that changes colour with the angle of the light on its surface. At the base, a soft woven textile, available in 55 colours, now combined with the sculptural possibilities of aluminium, Rita-Luminium can be shaped easily by hand without tooling. Its capacity to hold a form multiplies the different facets on its surface creating a multi-coloured object that reflects the light beautifully. Available in roll format with a width of 130 cm and thickness of 0,70 mm. Rita-Luminium comes in 21 shifting colours. Our in-house creative team chooses a featured Mate Our in-house creative team chooses a featured Material Of The Month each month. For July's MOTM we shone a light on our disco-fever favourite Mosaic Mirror – a mirrored mosaic patterned material composed of highly reflective PET on a HIPS support, with an adhesive backing. Mosaic Mirror has a square-grid mirrorball-like surface composed of highly reflective PET on HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) support with an adhesive backing. As the material surface is sliced through to the backing it can be easily manipulated by hand to clad columnal, facetted or undulating surfaces, giving spectacular specular reflections. Available in 98 cm by 98 cm plaque format with a thickness of 1,2 mm. Mosaic Mirror comes in 3 mirrorlike colours, in three square sizes 5 mm, 10 mm and 20 mm. "Baptiste Debombourg’s site-specific installation takes inspiration from its rehabilitated building, where historical relics stand alongside contemporary architectural elements. An open-plan office has been struck by a natural disaster. A gigantic flow of broken black glass has buried everything in its path, like a landslide, volcanic eruption, or tidal wave.
