Pas de moufles cette année, les magasins ont plutôt joué la carte de la nostalgie des fêtes de fin d'année pleines d’émotions, nous rappelant que c’est un temps pour la famille et la solidarité. Des étoiles aux galaxies, des arbres de Noël aux boules disco, des découpages amusants aux piles de linge, des journées enneigées aux tasses de chocolat au coin du feu, on cherche à évoquer un sentiment d'unité, propre à cette période de l'année.
La tendance actuelle visant à habiller les façades est encore montée d'un cran, avec des sautoirs géants chez Chanel, des sphères lumineuses décoratives chez Cartier, des points cardinaux et des vagues déferlantes chez Christian Dior, des étoiles scintillantes projetées chez Burberry et bien plus encore, décors parfaits pour les selfies des passants émerveillés.
Mention spéciale cette année pour les boutiques de Haute Joaillerie de la Place Vendôme. L'attention portée aux détails et à la construction de mondes fantastiques était sans égale, rehaussant la beauté des bijoux et racontant chaque fois une histoire unique.   L'équipe d'American Supply Paris, vous souhaite de belles fêtes de fin d'année !

Walking in a Parisian Wonderland

This year the mittens were off, as stores played to our nostalgia during the emotive Holiday Season, reminding us that this is a time of family and solidarity. From stars to star systems, Christmas trees to disco balls, playful cut-outs to piles of laundry, snow-filled days and warm cosy cups of cocoa by the hearth, they evoked the sense of togetherness that this time of year specialises in.
The ongoing trend for external facade dressing was taken up a notch, with giant necklaces at Chanel, decorative light spheres at Cartier, compass points and crashing waves at Christian Dior, projected glistening stars at Burberry and much more to the delight of the people on the streets taking selfies.
A special mention this year goes out to the Haute Joaillerie boutiques on Place Vendôme. Their attention to detail and whimsical world-building were second to none, elevating the jewellery and telling a unique story each time.   Happy Holidays from the team at American Supply, Paris!
